  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assisted Living Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our assisted living community.
This leadership role requires a compassionate professional with a strong background in senior care, nursing home management, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality care, maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a supportive environment for residents and staff alike. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals requiring specialized memory care. Duties Manage the overall operation of the assisted living facility, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for residents, including those requiring Alzheimer's and dementia care. Supervise staff members, including caregiving teams, nurses, and support personnel, fostering a positive work environment. Oversee medication administration procedures to ensure safety and adherence to prescribed protocols. Coordinate resident services, including social work activities, home & community care programs, and recreational activities. Maintain accurate documentation related to resident health, care plans, and operational records. Manage budgeting processes, control expenses, and optimize resource allocation to ensure financial sustainability. Lead operational initiatives such as staff training, quality improvement projects, and compliance audits. Collaborate with healthcare providers, families, and community agencies to support resident well-being. Ensure safety protocols are followed consistently to promote a secure environment for residents. Skills Extensive experience in assisted living facilities or nursing homes with a focus on senior care. Proven supervisory skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively. Strong knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care strategies, and long-term care practices. Familiarity with developing and managing care plans tailored to individual needs. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and compliance requirements. Financial acumen related to budgeting, expense management, and resource planning. Knowledge of medication administration procedures within regulated environments. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in group home settings is advantageous. Effective communication skills to liaise with residents' families, healthcare professionals, and staff members.
