Job Description

About Us:

As a Billing Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring our billing processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the success of our office and the satisfaction of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the billing department, ensuring accuracy in processing patient claims and insurance submissions. Manage patient accounts, including coding, charge entry, and payment posting. Work closely with insurance companies to resolve claims and denials in a timely manner. Handle patient inquiries regarding billing issues, payment plans, and account balances. Prepare and submit insurance claims, follow up on unpaid claims, and maintain detailed records. Generate and analyze reports to monitor billing performance and ensure optimal revenue cycle management. Collaborate with office staff and management to improve operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in medical billing or healthcare administration (Chiropractic experience preferred). Strong knowledge of insurance billing procedures, including private insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize. Familiarity with chiropractic billing software (e.g., EZ Bis, Genesis) is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and the team. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and claim processing.
