Job Description

Established dental office in the Tyler area is seeking a detail-oriented Patient Coordinator. This role is responsible for insurance processing, compliance, and administrative accuracy, while also supporting daily patient flow and overall office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Check in and check out patients Answer phones and manage incoming calls Coordinate patient arrivals and maintain smooth lobby flow Accept and post patient payments Support daily collections and end-of-day processes Perform recall and reactivation calls Participate in daily team huddles Handle patient concerns professionally and efficiently
Primary Responsibilities:
Complete insurance verification at least 72 hours prior to appointments Perform eligibility checks Accurately enter frequencies, limitations, and downgrades Submit and track pre-authorizations Submit insurance claims Follow up on insurance aging (A/R) Conduct chart audits for accuracy and completeness Scan and upload documentation Ensure accuracy of patient demographic and insurance information Complete new patient records Maintain documentation compliance
Qualifications:
Dental front office experience required Strong understanding of dental insurance and billing processes Experience with dental software (Dentrix preferred but not required) High attention to detail and organization Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Fridays Compensation:
Competitive pay based on experience
