Responsibilites:
The Transportation Coordinator/Patient Transport Driver is responsible to plan and organize appointment scheduling for all residents and ensure transportation is arranged to those various appointments as director and in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards. This role requires that the selected candidate be a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) / Elder Care Aide (ECA) in good standing in the state of Texas.
Key Qualifications:
Must possess a High School Diploma or GED. Valid driver's license and a motor vehicle record that meets company policy. Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certifiec Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) or Certified Elderly Care Assistant (ECA) Maintain an approved DOT Medical Card. Successful completion of required Driver education modules as provided for by the company. Must be highly organized and able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the public.
