Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of our office. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, handle multi-line phone systems, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors, clients, and team members. Your organizational skills and office management expertise will ensure smooth daily operations, creating a positive first impression and supporting the overall efficiency of our office environment. Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner Answer multi-line phone system and direct calls appropriately Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments Verify insurance information and collect copays/payments Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Assist patients with intake forms and office procedures Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinical staff Handle patient inquiries regarding appointments, billing, and referrals Process incoming faxes, emails, and medical correspondence Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations Manage front office workflow to ensure efficient daily operations Perform data entry and update demographic and insurance information Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed Support providers with administrative tasks and patient coordination Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
Qualifications :
Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Professional phone etiquette and strong written communication skills Experience handling patient scheduling, check-in, and check-out procedures Basic understanding of medical billing and insurance processes Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel Ability to work independently and collaboratively with healthcare staff Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to remain calm and professional when handling difficult situations or patients This role is an excellent fit for motivated individuals eager to grow their administrative expertise in a lively setting.
