This position requires the use of technology, medical terminology and excellent communication skills to facilitate effective patient care. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information about services. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize office efficiency. Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history. Assist with medical billing and coding tasks Handle medical collections in a professional manner while maintaining patient confidentiality. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care. Follow Ampelis policies and proceedures to maintain an organized system for medical records and documentation. Qualifications Proven experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Experience with medical systems and processes is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal/non verbal, and written, to interact professionally and friendly with patients and staff. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office, typing, using electronic health record (EHR) systems, and learning new technology.
