Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Patient Care Coordinator/Exam Technician to join our growing healthcare team. This employee plays a vital role in creating an exceptional patient experience by assisting with patient intake, performing diagnostic testing, collecting clinical information, and supporting the doctor throughout the examination process. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for health and wellness. Responsibilities Welcome patients and ensure a positive office experience Escort patients through the examination process Obtain and record patient health histories and symptom information Perform diagnostic testing and scans as directed by the doctor Take patient vitals and measurements when appropriate Prepare examination rooms and maintain cleanliness of equipment Assist with digital X-rays and imaging procedures (as permitted by training and certification requirements) Enter accurate patient information into electronic health records Educate patients on office procedures and treatment recommendations Assist with scheduling and patient flow as needed Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Support other team members to ensure efficient office operations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Healthcare experience preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Comfortable working with computers and electronic health records Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and professional appearance Ability to stand, walk, and assist patients throughout the day Preferred Characteristics Passion for health, wellness, and helping people Team-oriented mindset Dependable and self-motivated Strong customer service skills Desire to learn and grow within a healthcare setting Benefits Competitive compensation Paid training Opportunities for professional growth Positive and supportive team environment Employee wellness benefits Schedule Full-time or Part-time Monday-Friday Occasional flexibility based on patient care needs Join our team and help make a difference in the lives of our patients every day through exceptional care and service and help your community become happier and healthier.
