Company DescriptionThe Jackson Clinics Physical Therapy is a nationally recognized Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Physical Therapy group in Virginia. We are seeking an organized and energetic Patient Care Manager to join our team of highly motivated individuals!

Our clinics provide a fast-paced and highly rewarding work environment where you can grow, learn, and earn competitive compensation ($43,680 - $50,000 depending on experience).This leadership role is ideal for someone who is passionate about patient care, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys managing administrative operations while supporting a high-performing clinical team. As the Patient Care Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional patient experience and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic.

Job DescriptionClinic Operations & Patient ExperienceMaintain service standards by greeting patients and delivering exceptional patient care throughout their visit.

Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures.

Answer incoming calls, return voicemails, and address patient inquiries promptly and efficiently.

Schedule patient appointments and maintain clinic/provider schedules.

Educate patients on welcome ware kiosk, patient portal, insurance benefits, expected patient responsibilities, and clinic policies.

Collect patient payments, outstanding balances and maintain accurate financial records.

Complete all daily operational tasks including opening and closing in a timely manner.

Maintain prior authorization and track visit limit.

Maintain patient charts and electronic medical records in compliance with company policies and HIPAA regulations. Ensure all required patient documentation is completed and uploaded accurately.

Coordinate communication between patients, therapists, and referral sources.

Administrative LeadershipPlan, organize, and oversee daily administrative operations of the clinic.

Collaborate with the Clinic Director on clinic operations, goals, and operational improvements.

Participate in monthly Patient Care Manager meetings and ongoing training initiatives.

Monitor and support clinic performance related to key financial and operational metrics.

Assist with company programs, community outreach efforts, and patient engagement activities.

Financial & Compliance ResponsibilitiesPerform opening and closing procedures, including daily reconciliation and reporting.

Ensure accurate collection and documentation of co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance payments.

Assist with insurance verification processes and patient financial education.

Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and company policies.

Assist with emergency procedures and other business-related administrative functions as needed.
QualificationsPatient Care Manager Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.Experience in a medical administrative or healthcare office setting preferred but not required. Knowledge of insurance verification, patient scheduling, and medical office operations.

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.

Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Be available for a full-time schedule, Monday - FridayTeam player attitude and energetic with a focus on excellent customer serviceThe ideal candidate is:
