The Patient Care Coordinator is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a key role in ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience. Working at the front desk alongside the Office Manager at their assigned location, this role supports daily operations through helpful telephone interactions, appointment scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, and clear communication, along with other administrative tasks that help patients feel comfortable, informed, and valued.
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday from 6:45am
  • 5:15pm (Closed on Fridays and the weekends) This is a full-time position with an anticipated 40 hours per week.
Pay & Benefits:
$19
  • 21/hr (based on experience and qualifications) plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays, 401(k), scrub allowance, and more.
Position Responsibilities:
Answers all incoming calls expeditiously in a professional, courteous manner Schedule, re-schedule, and cancel appointments for all doctors and offices Answers caller questions when able; transfers calls to co-workers or doctors as necessary Correctly inputs into the system each patient's appointment, demographics, medical, and insurance information Assist patients within the office with check-in and check-out Evaluates schedules daily to be sure that they are booked correctly A team player who is willing to help co-workers as needed Assists in other business office tasks Manages email account Inputs patient information from online registration Scanning, copying and faxing Sends out correspondence
