Responsibilities Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures to create a welcoming atmosphere. Schedule appointments efficiently, coordinate follow-up visits, and manage appointment reminders to optimize clinic flow. Collect and update patient information accurately in the electronic health record system, ensuring all data complies with privacy regulations. Provide administrative support by handling phone inquiries, responding to patient questions, and directing calls appropriately. Assist healthcare providers with documentation, preparing charts, and managing medical records to support seamless clinical operations. Educate patients on treatment plans, insurance processes, and clinic policies to enhance understanding and engagement. Maintain a clean, organized reception area and ensure all office supplies are stocked for daily operations. Skills Proven experience working in a medical or dental office environment with familiarity in medical office procedures. Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately communicate with healthcare providers and patients. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling, billing support, and record management. Effective communication skills to interact empathetically with diverse patient populations. Prior office experience that demonstrates professionalism and attention to detail.
Bonus:
