Behavioral Health Director

Great outcomes start with great people and Armor has an exciting opportunity for a Behavioral Health Director to lead our behavioral health team at Riverside Regional Jail in Prince George, VA.

What You'll Do:

Oversee, train, coach, and mentor a team of Licensed Behavioral Health Professionals in a correctional healthcare environment On-site program supervisor providing overall program direction ensuring compliance with HRS licensure standards Provide crisis management counseling, and/or short-term therapy to patients as appropriate to the position Prepare treatment and follow-up care programs, including providing therapeutic crisis intervention and emergency services as required Initiate an interdisciplinary treatment plan and participates in the ongoing treatment planning process Lead the review of clinical issues and program policies and procedures Consult and direct behavioral health practitioners and related staff, as appropriate in the performance of therapeutic and/or casework What You Bring Master's Degree Current LPC license or LCSW license Current state Mental Health Professional license Current CPR certification Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include background check
