Hours:
full-time (37.5 hours per week), with full-time benefits, Mon-Fri, 8:30-5:00, but that one Saturday and one Sunday per month

Position Summary The CRC Clinical Coordinator will oversee the effective and efficient management of a multidisciplinary team providing services to clients in the 23-hour observation, residential crisis stabilization, and detox units. This role ensures that services are delivered in compliance with all applicable regulations and policies. The CRC Clinical Coordinator will lead and collaborate with internal staff and external entities as needed to ensure the smooth delivery of services. Additionally, the CRC Clinical Coordinator will support the CRC Program Manager in coordinating services and optimizing the financial performance of the programs. Required Education and Experience Master's Degree from a program that prepares individuals to practice counseling (60-hr Master's Program), which is offered by a college or university accredited by a regional accrediting agency. 54.1-3500 of the Code of Virginia) Two years of post-licensure clinical experience providing direct crisis services, will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience. One year of supervisory experience or other relevant leadership experience, preferably in a mental health setting. Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner (LSATP), Certified Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist (CPCNS).
Note:
New hires will be expected to apply for clinical supervision and residency within 30 days of hire. Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of and adherence to existing professional ethical standards; Knowledge and ability to provide evidenced based group/individual therapy; Knowledge of and ability to complete psychiatrically based assessments; Ability to form and maintain effective counseling relationships with clients, to monitor client movement in the therapy process, and terminate the therapeutic relationship in appropriate ways; Ability to effectively communicate orally, both in person, and by telephone; Ability to effectively communicate in writing and to prepare written documents; Ability to maintain a consistent and dependable work schedule: Ability to travel to meetings, other campuses, and counseling sites; Ability to respond to emergency situations in a timely and appropriate manner; Ability to use a personal computer and other office equipment Willing and available to work modified schedules (weekends, holiday, etc.) as required. Ability to participate in and successfully pass behavioral intervention training; includes both verbal de-escalation skills and physical skills techniques to be utilized with consumers as needed. Ability to drive and must possess a valid driver s license. May be called upon to travel to any Horizon worksite; transport clients, provide services to client @other locations. Regular attendance at trainings and Horizon meetings may require travel to a variety of Horizon sites.
