Job Description

Overview:
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Dental Patient Coordinator to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. The ideal candidate enjoys helping people, has strong communication skills, and can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced dental office.
Compensation:
$25-$28 per hour, based on experience Schedule Full-time Monday through Friday Benefits Bonus opportunities (production-based) Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Short and long-term disability options PTO and paid holidays 401(k) options Key Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service Check patients in and out for their appointments Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments as needed Contact patients by phone, text, or email to remind them of upcoming visits. Verify dental insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage prior to appointments Explain insurance benefits, treatment estimates, and payment options to patients Answer incoming calls and respond to patient questions in a professional and friendly manner Maintain accurate patient records and update insurance and demographic information Coordinate treatment schedules and assist patients with follow-up appointments Collect payments and process financial transactions Support the dental team by ensuring smooth daily office operations Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines Qualifications One year of previous experience in a dental field in the same position Knowledge of dental insurance verification and patient scheduling is a must Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy office environment.
