SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Director of Clinical Operations is responsible for daily operations management and supervision of assigned practice locations in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and coordinate the daily operations of all locations of the practice including staff scheduling, patient scheduling/registration, medical records, facilities, and equipment. Demonstrate service excellence, convey professionalism, and always maintain appropriate confidentiality; cultivate and foster a positive practice culture. Ensure the practice provides high quality, efficient, effective care by supporting and developing and retaining highly responsive, reliable, competent support teams. Coordinate with Administration and Human Resources to ensure successful recruitment and onboarding. Suggest and implement changes to improve the services provided through improved processes, efficiencies, and provider and staff member engagement. Maintain regulatory compliance and be responsible for maintenance of current records for facility and provider licenses/certifications and coordinate proper credentialing with hospitals and payers. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (Office Managers, administration, billing, clinical team, finance, A/P, HR, and facilities) to ensure effective and efficient practice operations. Manage location expenses, revenue cycle operations, and schedules (volumes) to ensure practice targets are achieved. Ensure the practice consistently provides the appropriate level of patient service including the resolution of patient concerns/issues. Implement, maintain, enforce, and, where needed, develop office policies and procedures and employee handbook revisions in collaboration with Human Resources and other management team members. Oversee compliance related activity. Participate in annual operating and capital budgeting. Provide additional administrative support to the physicians through the completion of assigned tasks. Demonstrate professional work behavior. Comply with practice organizational policies and procedures, including maintaining patient privacy. Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned or requested.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with establishing and optimizing medical practices, including financial modeling, expense management, and workflow standardization. Exceptional communication skills - actively listens, provides constructive feedback, and demonstrates respect for differing views. Skilled in conflict resolution, problem solving, and change management. Thorough knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and other relevant medical practice regulations. Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Word and Excel. Ability to prioritize and multi-task. Hands on approach to team building and willingness to work hard. Ability to analyze data and situations and develop recommendations that consider practice resources, budget, and targets. Ability to travel between various locations. Active professional licensure in area of certification (i.e., LPN or RN). Minimum of three years clinical experience in cardiology including specific knowledge of cardiovascular device clinic management. Ability to work independently and manage time and tasks efficiently. Effective communication skills.

Bachelor's Degree required Master's Degree preferred 5+ years of practice management experience
