In this vital role, you will oversee clinical operations, ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, and foster a collaborative environment for our multidisciplinary team. Your leadership will drive excellence in clinical practices, referral program, compliance with healthcare regulations, and innovative treatment approaches. The ideal candidate is passionate about making a positive impact on individuals' lives and possesses a strong background in behavioral health, pediatric care, and clinical research. Duties Provide strategic leadership for all clinical programs, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards such as HIPAA and ICD coding. Supervise and mentor clinical staff, including therapists, case managers, and support personnel, fostering professional development and team cohesion. Oversee patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and crisis intervention techniques. Ensure accurate medical documentation, management of medical records, and compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Coordinate intake processes for new patients, conducting comprehensive assessments to determine appropriate treatment pathways. Lead clinical research initiatives, data collection efforts, and quality improvement projects to enhance service delivery. Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis management protocols, crisis intervention strategies, and direct support during emergencies involving individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders. Collaborate with families, schools (including special education), and community agencies to develop individualized care plans that promote positive outcomes for children with autism or other developmental disabilities. Maintain knowledge of
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding systems for accurate diagnosis documentation and billing purposes. Requirements Master's or Doctoral degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution. Valid licensure or certification as required by state or local regulations (e.g., LCSW, LPC, Psychologist). Extensive experience working with children and individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders. Proven expertise in behavioral health modalities such as motivational interviewing, social work practices, psychotherapy, CPT coding, and case management. Strong background in crisis intervention, crisis management, addiction counseling, PTSD care, and working within hospital or clinical settings. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, ICD-10/ICD-9/ICD coding systems for diagnostic evaluation purposes. Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively while maintaining compliance with healthcare laws like HIPAA. Excellent communication skills to engage patients' families and collaborate with community partners in home & community care environments.
