The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling surgeries, coordinating with insurance companies, and ensuring that all patient records are up to date. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of medical terminology and be comfortable working with both patients and physicians.

Responsibilities:

Schedule surgical procedures ensuring all necessary equipment, personnel, and facilities are available Ensure pre-operative tests, consultations, post-operative and follow-up appointments are scheduled and completed timely Manage insurance verification, authorizations and paperwork to ensure that all procedures are covered by the patient's insurance plan. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of patient records, surgical procedures, cancellations, and changes Manage patient inquiries and provide clear, comprehensive information to patients and families about surgery details Coordinate with physicians, surgical facilities, and other healthcare professionals to align schedules and resolve discrepancies
