Job Description

The Mission:
We are seeking a dedicated, dynamic, and committed leader to serve as the heartbeat of our facility. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our group homes, ensuring strict adherence to DBHDS regulations while fostering a supportive, high-quality care environment for both our staff and the individuals we serve.
What You'll Do:
Operational Leadership:
Manage day-to-day operations and maintain meticulous records. You will lead the development and implementation of individualized care plans, including specialized memory care and dementia support.
Compliance & Audit Readiness:
Ensure 100% adherence to DBHDS regulations and internal policies. You will serve as the primary lead for DBHDS and QSR auditors . Medication Management (MARs): Oversee all Medication Administration Records. This includes ensuring real-time entry, tracking exceptions (refusals/PRNs), performing weekly/monthly audits to match physician orders, and managing pharmacy and signature verification.
Team Development:
Handle staff scheduling, training initiatives, and performance evaluations. You will supervise and mentor staff to maintain a motivated, competent, and compliant team.
Community Building:
Act as a professional liaison with public and private agencies and lead client recruitment efforts. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized service and support plans (ISPs) in collaboration with the supported person, family members, and interdisciplinary team. Ensure compliance with Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) regulations and Medicaid waiver requirements. Conduct monthly reviews and assessments to ensure documentation aligns with service goals and outcomes. Participate in the admission, assessment, and transition planning process for new and current clients. Coordinate interdisciplinary team meetings, provide clinical guidance, and monitor plan fidelity. Maintain timely, complete, and accurate records in accordance with agency policies and licensing standards. Serve as a liaison with case managers, family members, and external agencies, including between community and
DBHDS/CSB
attending meetings and other residential programs and contacting parents and guardians regarding day today concerns. Monitor individuals for changes in behavior or condition and initiate follow up as needed with clinical staff. Participate in audits, licensing visits, and quality improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
3+ years in a related field with at least 1 year of supervisory/management experience. Direct experience working with DBHDS and QSR auditors is required.
Education:
High school diploma/GED required; BA/BS preferred .
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication; proficiency in Microsoft Office.

$24.00 - $25.00 per hour
