We are a well established, patient focused dental practice seeking a polished, experienced, and highly motivated Dental Patient Coordinator / Front Desk Leader to join our team. This is an important front office leadership role for someone who understands that the first impression matters. We are looking for a confident, warm, professional individual who can create a luxury level patient experience while helping keep the schedule, treatment flow, insurance, collections, and front desk systems running smoothly. Position Overview The Dental Patient Coordinator / Front Desk Leader will be responsible for managing the patient experience from the first phone call through check out, treatment coordination, follow up, and ongoing patient communication. This role requires someone with strong dental front office experience, excellent phone skills, confidence discussing treatment and financial arrangements, and the ability to help maintain a productive doctor and hygiene schedule. Key Responsibilities Create a warm, polished, and professional first impression for every patient Answer phones with confidence, kindness, and excellent phone etiquette Greet patients and manage efficient check in and check out Schedule, confirm, cancel, and reschedule appointments while protecting office productivity Manage doctor and hygiene schedules to reduce openings and minimize no shows Verify insurance benefits and prepare accurate benefit breakdowns Communicate clearly with patients regarding insurance coverage, co pays, deductibles, and out of pocket estimates Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements with confidence and professionalism Follow up on unscheduled treatment and help patients move forward with recommended care Manage patient recalls, reactivation campaigns, and follow up lists Assist with collections, accounts receivable follow up, and outstanding patient balances Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards Help oversee front office systems, organization, and team accountability Support internal marketing, online reviews, patient referrals, and patient retention efforts Cross support two beautiful office locations when needed Assist with general administrative duties and overall office organization
