We are seeking an experienced, professional, and highly organized Medical Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator to become the welcoming face of our practice. The person in this role is often the first and last interaction a patient has with our practice. ResponsibilitiesPatient Experience & Front Desk Operations Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and compassion Answer and manage a multi-line phone system Schedule new and established patient appointments Coordinate provider schedules efficiently Assist patients with questions and provide guidance regarding office procedures Manage incoming and outgoing patient communications Process patient payments and maintain accurate financial records Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Facilitate communication between patients and providers Administrative & Clinical Support Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR) Process medical records requests Assist with patient intake and administrative workflows Manage supplement and dispensary sales Support providers and clinical staff as needed Assist with various office projects and operational tasks Medical Assistant Support (Preferred) Rooming patients when needed Obtaining vital signs Assisting providers with patient flow Supporting clinical operations during busy periods QualificationsRequired Minimum of 2 years of experience in a busy medical office, healthcare practice, or similar professional environment Strong computer and technology skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment High school diploma or equivalent Strongly Preferred Medical Assistant training and/or experience Knowledge of medical terminology Experience with EMR/EHR systems Insurance verification experience Medical billing experience Integrative, primary care, specialty care, or functional medicine experience The Ideal Candidate You are: Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented Calm under pressure Compassionate and patient-centered Professional and polished in your communication Able to work independently while functioning as part of a collaborative team Comfortable balancing multiple priorities throughout the day A proactive problem-solver who takes initiative Someone who genuinely enjoys helping people Most importantly, you understand that every patient interaction matters and that creating a positive experience is an essential part of excellent healthcare.
