Patient Access Coordinator | Medical Front Office Location Manchester Medical Center - Manchester Center, Vermont Compensation $25.00 - $27.00 per hour, based on experience About the Role Manchester Medical Center is a high-acuity urgent care and primary care practice serving southern Vermont. We are seeking a high-functioning, detail-oriented Patient Access Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced medical environment. This is not a typical front desk position. This role is central to patient flow, clinical operations, and the overall patient experience. What You Will Do Manage patient check-in and registration with accuracy and efficiency Coordinate patient flow between urgent care and primary care services Answer and triage high-volume phone calls professionally Verify insurance and collect co-pays and balances Support clinical staff with administrative coordination Maintain a calm, organized front office during high patient volume What We Are Looking For Prior experience in a medical, dental, or high-level customer service setting preferred Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment Professional communication skills with patients and team members High attention to detail and accountability Ability to stay composed under pressure What Makes This Role Different Work in a modern, procedure-capable medical center (on-site X-ray, ultrasound, lab) Be part of a growing, physician-led practice Opportunity for growth into clinical or leadership roles Exposure to both urgent care and primary care workflows Schedule Full-time preferred Consistent scheduling with some weekend coverage Benefits Competitive hourly compensation with growth pathway Paid time off Employee access to medical services at Manchester Medical Center Supportive, team-oriented environment
