Clinical Administrative Coordinator ! •Are you tired of the same old 9-to-5 routine? Ready to infuse some excitement into your work life? Well, you're in luck! We're on the hunt for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and detail oriented, multi tasker to join our vibrant OBGYN practice! As our Clinical Administrative Coordinator, you'll be the one to: Coordinate referrals, consultations, diagnostic testing, and follow-up appointments as directed. Track outstanding orders, referrals, and patient follow-up needs to ensure completion. Assist with prior authorizations and insurance-related documentation when needed. Facilitate communication between patients, providers, pharmacies, hospitals, laboratories, and outside healthcare organizations. Support continuity of care by ensuring timely coordination of services and patient follow-up. Medication & Prescription Support Process medication refill requests according to established protocols. Communicate with pharmacies regarding prescription clarifications and refill statuses. Assist nursing staff in tracking prior authorization requirements for medications. Quality & Compliance Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times. Follow clinic policies, procedures, and clinical workflows. Participate in quality improvement activities and departmental training. Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the EMR. Assist with maintaining regulatory and accreditation standards. General Office Duties Manage incoming mail, faxes, and electronic correspondence related to nursing operations. Order and maintain office and clinical supplies as assigned. Provide cross-coverage and support for other administrative functions as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned to support efficient clinic operations. Required Skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain professionalism and empathy during sensitive patient interactions. Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare workflows. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure documentation is completed according to organizational standards. Assist with preparation and distribution of patient education materials, forms, and correspondence. Coordinate incoming and outgoing medical records requests. Support maintenance of nursing schedules, meetings, and departmental communications. Assist with data entry, report preparation, and quality improvement initiatives.
Pay:
$22.00 per hour
