at Springfield Hospital in Springfield, Vermont, United States Job Description Description The Health Unit Coordinator (HUC)/Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) will: Manage the clerical functions of the unit. Perform at a professional level in the day-to-day operations of the unit. Provide support related to direct patient care. Demonstrate an ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations. Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to assist in the delivery of patient care. Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, perform identified patient care tasks that are reflected in established protocols and competencies. Be responsible for maintaining and/or increasing knowledge in the area of practice. Demonstrate the minimum knowledge, skills and ability to participate in care of age specific populations.
