Our mission is to promote the social and emotional well-being of adolescents through free and confidential counseling, prevention, and outreach services. We serve youth ages 13-21 and their families throughout our community. Position Summary Bainbridge Youth Services is seeking a Clinical Supervisor / Director to provide leadership for our counseling program and support the delivery of high-quality mental health services for youth and families. This position combines clinical leadership, supervision, program development, and direct service. The Clinical Director works closely with the Executive Director to ensure clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, staff development, and effective program operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership & Program Oversight Provide leadership and oversight of the BYS counseling program. Ensure compliance with Washington State licensing requirements, professional ethics, HIPAA regulations, and organizational policies. Maintain and update clinical policies, procedures, and documentation standards. Conduct clinical chart reviews and quality assurance activities. Support continuous improvement of clinical services and program outcomes. Staff Supervision & Development Provide individual and group supervision to associate-level clinicians and graduate interns. Offer consultation and support to licensed therapists. Lead clinical team meetings and case consultations. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and evaluation of clinical staff. Community Engagement & Collaboration Collaborate with the Executive Director on strategic initiatives, community partnerships, and program development. Represent BYS at community meetings, events, and outreach activities. Support grant-related activities and reporting as needed. QualificationsRequired Master's degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field. Active, unrestricted Washington State clinical license (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, PsyD, or equivalent). Minimum of five years of post-licensure clinical experience. Minimum of five years of clinical supervision experience. Eligibility to supervise associate-level clinicians and graduate interns in Washington State. Strong knowledge of Washington State mental health regulations, ethical standards, documentation requirements, and HIPAA compliance. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills. Preferred Experience working with adolescents, young adults, and parents.
