Position Summary The Center Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the ABA center while supporting staff, clients, and families in alignment with company values, Washington State regulations, and BACB standards. This role partners closely with the Clinical Director and leadership team to ensure high-quality care, strong staff performance, scheduling efficiency, compliance, and a positive center culture. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, compassionate, and able to balance leadership, communication, operations, and accountability in a fast-paced pediatric ABA environment. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Support Lead daily center operations and maintain a positive, professional clinic environment Support and supervise administrative and operational staff Partner with the Clinical Director regarding staffing, scheduling, and center needs Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and positivity Support onboarding and training of new team members Assist with staff coaching, performance management, and employee engagement Participate in interviews and recruitment efforts as needed Client & Family Experience Ensure families receive excellent communication and support Assist with client onboarding, scheduling, and transitions Address parent concerns professionally and promptly Support center tours and community outreach efforts Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Operational Oversight Manage clinic scheduling and staffing coordination Monitor attendance, staffing ratios, and operational efficiency Ensure all areas of the center remain clean, safe, and organized Oversee inventory, ordering of supplies, and facility needs Ensure staff follow company procedures regarding cleaning duties, timekeeping, and documentation Support payroll-related processes including timecard review and follow-up Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure compliance with: Washington State regulations BACB ethical and supervision standards HIPAA requirements Company policies and procedures Assist with internal audits and chart compliance monitoring Collaborate with leadership to improve systems and workflows Maintain accurate operational records and documentation QualificationsRequired BACB, Bachelor's Degree required Minimum of 2 years leadership or management experience Experience working in ABA, healthcare, education, pediatric therapy, or related field Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities Proficiency with technology and scheduling systems Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality Preferred Experience in an ABA center setting Knowledge of CentralReach or similar EMR systems Experience managing schedules and staff coordination Understanding of insurance authorization processes Experience with recruiting or onboarding Professionalism & Ethics At Step Up ABA, professionalism, integrity, and respect are essential to our culture and success.
