Job Description
Patient Care Coordinator - Pediatric Optometry Do you love working with kids and families? If so, you could be the person we are looking for to fill the position of patient care coordinator in our pediatric vision care and vision therapy clinic. As a key team member in a rapidly growing practice, there is incredible opportunity to grow with us. At Summit Vision Center you will be a key team member in a growing kids vision clinic on a mission to transform the lives of children through vision. We help kids from babies to teens develop their visual skills and see their best so they can reach their fullest potential.
Your role will initially include:
Greeting patients, managing the flow of patients walking in the door, creating a welcoming environment, and establishing a friendly relationship with our patients and their families Scheduling appointments and entering complete and accurate information in to our software systems/databases Holding lengthy phone conversations with new patients/their families to make a strong connection by working to understand their child's visual challenges and then ensuring they understand how our unique care and services will meet the needs of their child Answering phones, fielding questions, making outbound calls, and communicating with patients via phone, text, and email before and after appointments to ensure complete satisfaction Performing preliminary testing on patients as the first step in their evaluation Managing and optimizing the schedule Communicating with other professionals including creating and sending letters and reports Understanding the services we provide and clearly communicating with all that interact with our office If you are… friendly, professional, reliable, organized, proactive, attentive to details, and have a love of learning and growth as well as excellent communication and time-management skills, we would love to hear from you!Details about this position:
36-40 hours / week Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Starting pay is $23-25/hr DOE. Opportunity to earn more with growth.
