Job Description

Compensation Based on Experience Position Overview The Clinical Director is responsible for providing effective leadership to the clinical and administrative departments in day-to-day communications with staff, clients and the community. The Clinical Director is responsible for daily chart audits and co-authenticating clinical documentation. Clinical Director works with the clinical team to motivate the clients and assist in their levels of care.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Mental Health Counseling A minimum of 5 years experience in mental health and substance abuse. A minimum of 2 years management experience, with Quality Improvement, State regulations, CARF, JCAHO and ASAM standards Licensed Clinician as a LCPC, LMFT, LCSW, LCADC, LADC or a combination thereof Management experience in a clinical environment CPR Certification required Knowledge of state requirements, CARF, JCAHO and ASAM standards Knowledge of the Principles and Practices of the discipline Demonstrates Proficiency in Communication & Written skills Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace Policies Knowledge of Workplace Violence Ability to read, analyze, and interpret human service periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and analyze policies and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Electronic Health Records; Internet software; Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
