Our busy Eye Care practice needs a Patient Coordinator to help us give our patients a 5-star experience all the time, every time! Do you love gadgets and gizmos as much as you love working with people? Love to geek out on science/medical marvel TV shows until way past your bedtime? Then we want to talk to you about our Patient Coordinator position! Our busy optical practice needs an optometric assistant to help us give patients a 5-star experience every time they're here. This is a full-time position at our office in Lake Stevens with weekends OFF! What you'll be doing : Making sure patients feel welcome as soon as they walk in the door Pleasantly answering questions and making appointments for existing and potential clients Reviewing and organizing patient appointment information for accuracy and authenticity Using your friendliest phone voice to answer incoming calls, take messages, complete outreach to patients Collecting and verifying insurances before each visit Collecting payments as indicated Collaborating with other colleagues on glasses and contact lenses orders Assisting in opening and closing the office Understanding and respecting patient privacy laws Consistent cross-training for optimal career growth Why this job is more than a job In Eye Care, we change people's lives.
