Job Overview
STEPHEN RUSSELL, DDS IS SEARCHING FOR AN ENTHUSIASTIC PATIENT & REFERRAL COORDINATOR TO JOIN OUR TMD AND SLEEP THERAPY TEAM. THIS IS AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN A GREAT TEAM AS WE GROW OUR PRACTICE. THIS INDIVIDUAL WORKS BOTH INDEPENDANTLY AND HAND-IN-HAND WITH THE OTHER MEMBERS OF THE TEAM, PATIENTS AND A BROAD RANGE OF OTHER PROVIDERS. THIS PERSON IS CRUCIAL TO THE FLOW OF THE OFFICE AND PROVIDES THE WARM, WELCOMING PERSONALITY THAT WOULD MAKE ANYONE FEEL AT HOME. THIS KEY MEMBER OF THE TEAM EXUDES OUR CORE VALUES AND IS DEDICATED TO THE LONG-TERM SUCCES OF THE TREATMENT WE PROVIDE OUR PATIENTS AND THE SUPPORT WE OFFER TO OUR REFERRING PROVIDERS.
Our ideal candidate will possess the ability to: Read and understand applicable schedules and obligations or availability of the practice and staff during scheduled hours Applied use of standard office equipment including phone, fax, computers and software such as MS Word, Excel, and Practice Management Software Efficiently manage a variety of communication channels Maintain confidence and professionalism with our patients, referring providers and other professional partnerships Communicate and express thoughts and ideas competently while maintaining open, honest and transparent communication Quickly grasp relevant concepts regarding duties, responsibilities and problem solving As Patient & Referral Coordinator, your duties and responsibilities will include: Greeting patients, visitors and vendors upon entering the practice and alerting proper staff Managing an efficient and productive schedule with the ability to prioritize tasks and anticipate needs or expectations Leading the team's morning huddle each clinic day Registering new patients and ensuring the necessary new patient documents and records are received prior to their initial appointment Answering incoming phones and responding to text messages and emails Process incoming and outgoing referrals with follow-up Creating and sending letters and reports to various providers Requesting records as needed Managing and distributing incoming packages, faxes and records Managing outgoing mail Managing the general practice email inboxes Receiving and processing patient payments and establishing recurring payment plans Occasional support to the Treatment Coordinator which would include treatment plan presentations and knowledge of our medical billing practices Occasional support to our Community Outreach/Marketing Coordinator This is truly an exciting opportunity for an individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organizational skills and self-motivation is a must. Dental/medical experience is preferred. Those with a bright disposition, willingness to help and sense of humor are encouraged to apply.

From $25.00 per hour
