Job Description

Northwest Medical Specialties, PLLC has an open position for a Clinical Supervisor. NWMS offers South Sound residents compassionate, experienced and innovative treatment in cancer care. We are among the regional leaders in clinical trials, with one of the largest accrual rates within the Pacific Northwest, allowing patients access to cutting-edge treatment otherwise unavailable in the area. We are also founding members of the Quality Cancer Care Alliance (QCCA). Northwest Medical Specialties is independently owned and has 6 office locations throughout the South Puget Sound. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the day-to-day back-office operations. The Clinical Supervisor will work closely with the Assistant Clinical Manager/Clinical Manager to manage the needs of the clinical staff and improve outcomes in patient care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Provide onsite day-to-day supervision of the staff; work in close collaboration with the Assistant Clinical Manager/Clinical Manager to implement workflows and provider training. Mange department staffing (including call outs, staff schedules, etc) Provider back office support to clinical departments Responsible for new hire onboarding, training, and shadowing of back office staff. Ensure back office staff get proper quality assurance/continuing education training. Responsible for clinical policies, procedures, and objectives including their adequate execution, compliance, and updates. Supervise and coordinate employee health processes/procedures. Participate in interviews while adhering to federal, local, and internal guidance for equal opportunity employment, and by providing objective feedback about candidates to support informed hiring decisions. Attend meetings regarding back office needs as requested by Assistant Clinical Manager/Clinical Manager. Host biweekly virtual staff meetings for back office staff. Maintain active MA-C licensure. Travel to and work from various clinic locations as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Medical assistant duties include but are not limited to rooming, chart prep, telemedicine coordination, procedures, injections and occasional weekend shifts. A current Washington State Medical Assistant Certification is required.
