Knowledge of or ability to learn medical terminology. Basic computer skills, word processing and data entry. Demonstrate ability to communicate orally, via phone and writing with patients, families, staff and medical professionals. Organization and prioritizing patient care activities and needs. Read, write, speak and understand English in order to perform duties. Working knowledge of personal computers, word processing, e-mail, spreadsheet applications and Intranet. Ability to operate office equipment to include fax machines, copy machines, multiple line phone systems. Why Join Providence? The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
