  • On-Site — Georgetown Campus, Seattle WA About SIEAM Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine (SIEAM) is a graduate school and teaching clinic offering acupuncture, herbal medicine, and tuina services in Georgetown, Seattle.
Our clinic is a warm, community-oriented space where practitioners, students, and patients work together in a shared healing environment. About the Role We're looking for a dependable, organized, and friendly person to cover on-site clinic operations while our current Assistant Clinic Manager is on maternity leave (approximately Mid July
  • December 2026).
You'll be the primary in-person presence at the front desk — welcoming patients, keeping operations running smoothly, and supporting our practitioners, students, and staff day-to-day. You'll work closely with our remote administrative team and clinic manager throughout the engagement. Responsibilities Patient Experience & Front Desk Greet and check in patients; buzz patients into the building, check them in and orient them to the clinic space and processes Answer phones, clear voicemails, and monitor the clinic email inbox Assist patients with scheduling, checkout, billing, and rebooking Handle records requests, refunds, and discounts per clinic policy Report directly to the Clinic Manager, working together as a team Scheduling & Billing (Jane App) Book, reschedule, and cancel appointments; manage waitlists and last-minute changes Process payments, apply adjustments, send receipts, and close out all appointments each shift Confirm patient intake forms are completed prior to appointments Support tele-health appointment setup Clinic Operations & Facilities Monitor supply levels; unpack and store deliveries; flag inventory needs to clinic manager Assist with herbal dispensary pickups and direct herbal inquiries appropriately Post and print finalized schedules, signage, and notices in clinic and classroom spaces Support student clinic orientation logistics and on-site first-day needs Communications & Team Support Relay communications and schedule updates to on-site students, TAs, and supervisors Communicate questions and follow-up items to the Clinic Manager each shift Ensure the building is secured at end of shift — doors closed, clinic unplugged, lights off Qualifications Warm, professional, and patient-centered communication style Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable learning new software quickly (Jane or similar scheduling/EHR experience a plus) Ability to multitask and stay calm in a busy, people-facing environment Previous front desk, reception, or healthcare admin experience preferred, not required Interest in East Asian medicine, integrative health, or wellness — a bonus, not required Position Details Start Date Mid July 2026 Hours Part Time
