Our client in Anchorage, Alaska is currently hiring for a Healthcare Owner's Representative / Program Manager. This position is an onsite opportunity based in Anchorage, AK with periodic site visits to active healthcare construction projects. This role supports a large, complex healthcare capital program exceeding $300M in total project value, including a skilled nursing facility and an emergency department expansion. - Friday (40 hours per week) Responsibilities Act as the Owner's Representative overseeing a portfolio of healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Provide program-level oversight of schedule, budget, cost controls, risk management, safety, and quality across multiple concurrent projects. Lead coordination between owners, designers, contractors, consultants, and authorities having jurisdiction. Ensure compliance with healthcare, federal, and Alaska-specific building requirements, including cold-weather and remote construction considerations. Review and manage construction documents, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications. Support procurement strategies and contractor performance management. Deliver executive-level reporting, forecasting, and issue escalation. Provide continuity of leadership during a transitional period. Qualification Requirements 10-15+ years of construction, program, or project management experience. Demonstrated experience working as an Owner's Representative or owner-side project manager. Direct healthcare project experience including hospital, clinic, skilled nursing facility, or similar. Proven track record managing complex capital programs exceeding $100M in total project value. Experience with federal healthcare projects, ideally including Indian Health Services or similar public-sector work. Strong understanding of Alaska's construction environment, logistics, and regulatory framework. Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC
- ASHE) is highly desirable.
