Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Patient Care Coordinator, where your enthusiasm and organizational skills will make a meaningful difference in patient experiences. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring smooth scheduling, accurate documentation, and effective communication between patients and healthcare providers. Your proactive approach will help create a welcoming environment that promotes patient satisfaction and efficient clinic operations. Duties Greet patients warmly and verify their appointment details to ensure accurate scheduling. Manage patient records with precision, updating information and maintaining confidentiality at all times. Coordinate appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and follow-up visits to optimize provider availability. Assist patients with insurance verification, billing inquiries, and necessary paperwork to streamline administrative processes. Communicate clearly with healthcare providers regarding patient needs, appointment changes, or special instructions. Support medical staff by preparing exam rooms, handling patient intake forms, and ensuring all documentation is complete. Maintain a tidy and organized front office environment to promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere. Requirements Proven experience working in a medical or dental office setting, demonstrating familiarity with clinical workflows. Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret and communicate healthcare information. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling software, insurance processing, and record management. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations while maintaining professionalism and empathy. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical office administration is a plus. Pay:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
