Job Description

Overview Preferred Search Group is partnering with a top-rated private dental office in North Spokane to find a Patient Coordinator. In this role, you will coordinate patient care plans, facilitate insurance processes, and ensure seamless communication across clinical and administrative teams. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help deliver exceptional patient experiences while supporting the smooth operation of the dental practice. We are seeking a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and is passionate about making a positive impact on patient care.
Office Hours:
Monday - Thursday 6:30am-5pm Responsibilities Review and explain treatment plans provided by the dentist in a clear, patient-friendly manner. Provide cost estimates and review payment options, including financing programs. Verify insurance coverage and determine patient out-of-pocket responsibilities. Obtain pre-authorizations when needed. Follow up on pending treatment plans to encourage scheduling and case acceptance. Schedule patient appointments Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within practice management software. Build strong rapport with patients to support trust and continuity of care. Support front office tasks as needed (check-in, check-out, phone calls). Requirements Previous experience in a dental office (front office or clinical) preferred. Strong understanding of common dental procedures and terminology. Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Ability to explain financial information clearly and professionally. Proficiency with dental practice management software. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
