Job Description

Join a Growing Medical Optometric Practice We are a busy, rapidly growing medical optometric practice seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Front Desk Patient Coordinator/Administrative Assistant . This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to learn and grow alongside our practice. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service and communication skills, both in person and over the phone, along with a professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic. We are looking for someone who is adaptable and willing to take on new responsibilities as the practice continues to expand. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Patient reception and check-in/check-out Appointment scheduling and phone management Insurance verification Patient referral coordination Inventory tracking and maintenance Insurance credentialing support General administrative and clerical duties Qualifications Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Strong verbal and written English communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities Proficiency with computers and common office software Experience with CAQH, Availity, and OneHealthPort preferred (training available) Understanding of HIPAA regulations preferred (training available) Prior medical office experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate Education & Certification Medical Assistant (MA) Certification required (employer will reimburse certification costs after 90 days of successful employment and good standing) Schedule Part-time (24-28 hours) Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts To apply, please submit: Your resume A professional letter of reference In addition, please answer the following questions in your application: Do you enjoy reading?
