Job Description

Prairie Ridge Health is looking for manager to lead the Nutrition, Diabetes Services, and Cardiopulmonary teams. This position is a 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week), working day shift hours.
JOB SUMMARY
The Nutrition and Cardiopulmonary Services Manager is a Clinical Professional who provides leadership and direction to the members of the Medical Nutrition Therapy, Diabetes Services Department, and Cardiopulmonary teams. He/she is responsible for facilitating a multi-disciplinary care delivery system, developing and updating the policies, procedures and competencies and is responsible for hiring and staffing the department to assure safety. The Manager demonstrates fiscal responsibility in development and management of the department budgets. He/she is accountable for regulatory requirements and is a leader in compliance with health and safety standards and guidelines. He/she must be a leader in Quality Measurement and Enhancement for the departments. The Manager must be an effective facilitator between physicians, department staff, and other members of the health care teams. He/she must demonstrate competencies in the delivery of care for patients, internal staff and external customers, and participate in the staffing of the departments.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION
Baccalaureate degree or be actively enrolled (currently taking courses) preferred. Five years' experience as a registered dietitian, nurse, or respiratory therapist or other clinical license in a clinical setting required Current WI licensure as applicable to clinical discipline required Three years prior supervisory/management experience highly preferred or equivalent progressive career achievements demonstrating strong leadership skills CPR Certification preferred Computer knowledge preferred
