  • the shift begins at 7pm and ends at 7am 0.6 FTE 2-days per week (12-hour shifts) Weekend Rotation (Saturday & Sunday) Holiday Rotation Required Pay Range $19.80

Key Duties:
Patient Management
  • Admitting, transferring and discharging patients; ensuring accurate documentation and communication throughout the processes. Record Keeping
  • Maintaining and updating patient medical records, including electronic health records (EPIC), and compiling charts. Communication
  • Serving as a liaison between patients, medical staff, and other departments; answering phone calls; relaying information. Scheduling
  • Coordinating appointments, procedures and surgeries for patients. Clerical Tasks
  • Performing various typing, filing and data entry projects. Supply Management
  • Ordering and organizing supplies for the unit. Patient Assistance
  • Helping patients and families by answering questions, giving directions, providing forms and brochures. Other Duties
  • May be asked to prepare birth/death certificates, vital sign graphs, or other various unit projects.
Education Required:
High School Graduate (HSD, GED, HSED)
Experience Required:
At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting, demonstrating the ability to perform the following skills:

Handling aggressive or distressed patients and families.
Efficient Documentation:
Accurately recording patient information and treatment.
