Must have experience with Commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare insurances Must be willing to work in a fast paced environment Must have at least 1 year of management experience in billing

Responsibilities:

Review and process medical bills and claims Verify accuracy of patient information, insurance details, and medical codes Submit claims to insurance companies electronically or by mail Follow up on unpaid or denied claims Communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies regarding billing inquiries and disputes Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations Stay updated on changes in medical billing and coding guidelines Overseeing productivity of billing personnel Prepare weekly and monthly reports May need to travel to all clinic locations, milage reimbursed

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Certification in medical billing and coding preferred Proficient in medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems Strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems Knowledge of insurance claim processing and reimbursement procedures Strong computer skills
