$24•$25/hour Job Overview This position is responsible for gathering and reviewing relevant information for assigned members during assessments, care planning, interdisciplinary care team meetings, and transitions of care. The UM Coordinator will also troubleshoot issues as they arise and take independent action to resolve complex situations efficiently and professionally. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Prior experience working in a clinic or healthcare call center Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment Strong knowledge of prior authorization and case management regulations governing Medi-Cal, Commercial, Medicare, CCS, and other government and commercial programs Experience in a managed healthcare environment (IPA, HMO, or Health Plan) preferred Experience working with ethnically diverse populations preferred
