The Wellness Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive wellness initiatives and strategies to ensure the wellbeing of staff and other stakeholders. This role requires a combination of knowledge in health promotion, health education, and health coaching, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The Wellness Director must also be able to lead, motivate, and inspire individuals and teams to reach their health and wellness goals. Wellness Director Responsibilities :

Develop and implement wellness initiatives. Create and manage wellness programs. Conduct health assessments and identify health risks. Collaborate with health professionals to develop strategies for improving the health of employees. Provide education, coaching, and support to employees on health and wellbeing topics. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellness programs. Provide advice and guidance on health and wellness topics. Develop outreach and promotional activities to increase awareness of wellness programs. Oversee facility maintenance and upkeep.

Qualifications :

Must be a Licensed Vocational Nurse A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a Wellness Director and in eldercare service or nursing experience with demonstrated knowledge of residential care, and customer service principles and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate wellness programs. A good understanding of health and well-being issues.
