Tobacco Cessation Program Support Northeast Florida AHEC Jacksonville, FL Job Details Part-time 20 hours ago Qualifications Community engagement Microsoft Excel Local agency collaboration Administrative experience Medical administrative support Bachelor's degree Data entry Networking through strategic partnership building Smoking cessation Referral coordination Communication skills Marketing Entry level Full Job Description Description overview- Tobacco Cessation Program Support is a critical position that provides assistance to the Tobacco Cessation team. In addition to the following duties, this position will also provide administrative support to the Tobacco Program Manager and other staff on the team. This position is part-time scheduled for up to 35 hours a week.
Specific Tasks:
Pre-enrollment of participants in our data system. Make documented required attempts to contact referrals. Register referrals into data system according to the guidelines. Assist with class data entry into the system. Facilitate tobacco cessation courses. Report Registration Systems at meetings with a focus on increasing referrals. Implement follow-up call process with participants that have attended classes. Implementation of Tobacco marketing plan. Assist with Health Fairs and Trainings as needed. Work with Tobacco Program Manager on building and establishing relationships with community partners. Perform additional duties as deemed appropriate by Tobacco Program Manager.Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a health-related field. The candidate must possess excellent organizational and people skills. Knowledge of healthcare systems. Excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to multitask- Strong administrative skills, extremely detailed oriented
- Strong computer skills as in the use of Excel, Word, and databases
