Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives from initiation through delivery. The successful candidate will manage scope, schedule, budget and resources to ensure projects meet business objectives and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and experience delivering projects in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, HealthTech, ECommerce or SaaS environments, with exposure to PMO practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end project delivery including planning, execution, monitoring and closeout, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope and on budget.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and resource forecasts; track progress and report status to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including product, engineering, regulatory, clinical, commercial and external vendors; facilitate clear communication and collaboration.
Identify, assess and mitigate risks and issues; implement contingency plans and escalate appropriately to maintain project momentum.
Manage stakeholder expectations through regular updates, governance meetings, steering committees and clear documentation of decisions and change control.
Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards (e.g., pharmaceutical, healthcare or data privacy requirements) and incorporate quality management best practices into project delivery.
Implement and promote PMO methodologies, processes and continuous improvement initiatives; tailor project delivery approach (Agile, Waterfall or hybrid) to the project and organization.
Oversee vendor management and contracts where applicable; negotiate scope, timelines and deliverables and ensure vendor performance meets contractual obligations.
Drive post-implementation reviews and lessons-learned sessions to capture improvements for future projects.
QualificationsBachelors degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, Healthcare or related field; advanced degree preferred.5+ years of project management experience delivering complex projects; experience in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, HealthTech, ECommerce or SaaS strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience working within or with a PMO, including implementing governance, reporting and portfolio management practices.
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, multiple priorities and competing deadlines in regulated environments.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, hybrid) and tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet, Confluence).Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification preferred.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and leadership skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership and external partners.
Solid financial acumen with experience managing project budgets, forecasts and vendor contracts.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality management in pharmaceutical and healthcare contexts, including data privacy (HIPAA, GDPR) where applicable.
