Full Job Description Please Note:
This position is being hired on a temporary basis to support department needs. Continued employment is not guaranteed and will depend on business needs. Summary The Precision Health Project Coordinator serves as a centralized administrative and operational hub for the Precision Health program. This role is immediately required to support the growing complexity and volume of precision medicine initiatives. The Coordinator supports the end-to-end workflow of patient cases involving genetic/genomic testing, companion diagnostics, and molecularly targeted therapies. Additionally, this role provides operational support for departmental projects, operational improvement initiatives, and active research studies. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate patient workflows related to genetic and genomic testing, companion diagnostics, and targeted therapies under the direction of Precision Health leadership and clinical roles. Serve as the primary logistical coordinator for multiple departmental projects and research studies. Ensure efficient organization and operationalization of Precision Health initiatives and departmental priorities. Provide administrative and operational support to improve processes, data accuracy, and compliance. Assist in preparing samples for shipment in accordance with universal precautions, safety policies, and departmental procedures. Maintain accurate documentation and assist with compliance-related requirements. Participate in required staff meetings, in-services, and professional development activities. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education Required:
Associate's degree
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in life sciences or healthcare administration Must be able to complete required training on the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and applicable compliance guidelines. Experience Direct experience in genetics and/or oncology is highly prioritized.
