Job Description

Job Description - Medical Device Project Manager (Contract) 8 months Remote We are seeking a motivated and execution-driven professional with experience in Class II and/or Class III medical device development to support therapeutic drug delivery device programs. This role will focus on clinical development activities, stakeholder coordination, device performance evaluation, and cross-functional program execution. Key Responsibilities Support development and management of Class III medical device programs. Candidates with Class II experience must have strong regulatory knowledge and exposure. Lead clinical trial build, launch, and execution activities. Coordinate with CMOs, manufacturing partners, and supply chain stakeholders. Manage contract manufacturers and support therapeutic device development programs. Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, and Engineering teams. Drive design verification testing and device performance evaluation activities. Translate clinician feedback into design verification and testing improvements. Support problem-solving activities and contribute to overall lab and development strategy. Ensure understanding and compliance with applicable ISO standards and regulatory expectations. Support up to three medical device products within the portfolio. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Class III medical devices strongly preferred. PMA experience preferred but not mandatory. Implantable device experience is beneficial but not required. Engineering or device development background preferred. Pharma/drug delivery device experience preferred. Catheter experience is highly desirable and will support stronger understanding of the technology and device development process. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Clinical understanding required; hands-on device operation experience not necessary. Action-oriented mindset with strong execution and problem-solving capabilities.
