Bilingual Healthcare Coordinator Confidential Baltimore, MD 21240 $20 an hour - Full-time $20 an hour - Full-time Job Overview The Health Care Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring a smooth, positive, and efficient experience for patients in an outpatient physical therapy setting. This position supports both clinical and administrative operations by managing patient scheduling, coordinating communication, assisting with documentation, and helping maintain an organized, patient‑centered environment. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, friendly, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced clinic and speaks both English and Spanish fluently. Duties Greet patients, check them in/out, and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit Schedule and confirm patient appointments, follow‑up visits, and evaluations Verify insurance benefits, obtain authorizations, and communicate coverage details to patients Collect copays, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records Support Physical Therapists with documentation, forms, and workflow coordination Answer phone calls, respond to messages, and route communication appropriately Maintain organized patient records and ensure compliance with privacy standards Assist with daily clinic operations, including managing patient flow and preparing treatment areas Communicate professionally with patients, clinicians, and external partners Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or patient concerns promptly Contribute to a positive, team‑oriented clinic culture Qualifications Bilingual proficiency in English and the target language with excellent verbal and written communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred Prior experience in healthcare, medical office, or customer service strongly preferred Knowledge of insurance verification and authorizations is a plus Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a busy environment
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
