$70,000-$80,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications) About Us We are a growing Maryland-based Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) dedicated to providing high-quality behavioral health services to adults, adolescents, and families in the community. We are seeking a motivated and organized professional to help grow and manage our IOP services while supporting client intake and community outreach efforts. Position Summary The Intake Coordinator / Outreach & Program Manager will play a key leadership role in supporting daily IOP operations, coordinating new client admissions, managing referrals, assisting with census growth, and facilitating behavioral health groups as needed. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced behavioral health environment and understands Maryland behavioral health systems. Responsibilities Coordinate client intakes, assessments, and admissions Verify insurance eligibility and assist with authorizations Build and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, OMHCs, schools, social workers, and community agencies Support IOP census growth and client retention efforts Assist with daily program operations and scheduling Monitor attendance, follow up on no-shows, and support client engagement Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups as assigned Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with Maryland
OMHC/IOP
regulations Collaborate with therapists, psychiatric providers, and administrative staff Participate in outreach and community networking activities Qualifications Ideal candidates should hold a license in the counseling or behavioral health field (LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, LCSW-C, CAC-AD, or related license preferred) Experience in behavioral health, OMHC, PHP, IOP, PRP, or related setting preferred Knowledge of Maryland Medicaid/Carelon behavioral health systems preferred Familiarity with Prince George's County and surrounding areas, including community resources and referral networks, strongly preferred Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills Experience with intake coordination, admissions, outreach, or program operations strongly preferred Ability to work independently and help grow program census What We Offer Competitive salary with growth opportunity Supportive team environment Opportunity to help shape and expand community behavioral health services Professional development and leadership growth opportunities
