Job Description

Interim HealthCare is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Office Coordinator to join our team in Rockville, Maryland. This part-time position (24 hours per week) is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and enjoys supporting both caregivers and clients. The Office Coordinator plays a vital role in the daily operations of the office, including employee onboarding, scheduling support, compliance tracking, and client intake coordination. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and facilitate caregiver orientation and onboarding processes. Manage and monitor employee certifications, licenses, and expiration dates to ensure regulatory compliance. Conduct reference checks, background screenings, and required registry searches, including sex offender and abuse registries. Provide caregiver scheduling support as needed. Assist with training compliance and maintain caregiver training records and tracking matrices. Support telephony verification processes to ensure accurate documentation of services provided. Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date employee records. Answer incoming phone calls and effectively manage multiple inquiries. Assist with client education regarding available services and support completion of intake documentation. Communicate with clients and family members regarding Interim HealthCare services. Collaborate with office staff to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and HR-related functions. Qualifications Previous experience in home care, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must present professionally Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR-related software systems. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
