About Us:
Autism & Neurodiversity Services is a women-led mental health organization dedicated to providing neurodiversity-affirming care. We offer psychotherapy and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. Our team is committed to creating an inclusive, supportive environment for both clients and staff.
Job Summary:
The Office Intern supports the day-to-day administrative operations of the organization while gaining hands-on experience in healthcare administration, including exposure to practice operations, client coordination, and clinical support processes. This role assists with scheduling, client intake coordination, front desk operations, and general office support to help ensure efficient and professional service delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in gaining experience in healthcare administration within a behavioral health setting.
Responsibilities:
Assist with scheduling client appointments. Support the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) evaluation process by managing intake documentation, tracking completion status, and communicating with clients regarding outstanding forms. Maintain electronic health records through printing, scanning, and filing documents in the EHR system. Provide front desk support, including answering phones, greeting clients, and responding to inquiries in a professional manner. Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Previous administrative, customer service, or office experience preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone etiquette.
