BEHAVIORAL INTERVENTIONIST PROGRAM MANAGER

Administrative Leadership & Management Oversee and manage staff in Cape Girardeau and Hannibal, Missouri Provide oversight resulting in high quality of service delivery to meet the specified outcomes for the BI Program operating in assigned branch office(s) Provide effective and inspiring supervision and leadership to enhance the emotional intelligence of all direct reports to increase performance and leadership skills Ensure all program activities operate consistently and ethically within the mission and values of FAC Responsible for employee and team satisfaction within the branch office BI program Responsible for monitoring the workload of the Family Coordinators and BI Coordinators and make adjustments as needed Conduct individual supervisory conferences with Family Coordinators and BI Coordinators at least bi-monthly with the goal of providing continual support, guidance, work product evaluation/feedback, and allowing staff to give feedback on program operations, as well as case consultation Complete timely probationary and annual employee evaluations Ensure all initial and annual training requirements are met for direct reports and all BI staff Work in partnership with the Regional Director of Behavioral Interventionist Program to maintain and monitor client referrals and waitlists to effectively match new clients with program staff and hire for the needs of the clients waiting Ensure the specific reporting and procedural requirements of the program are used consistently and accurately Assign new referrals within two (2) business days of receipt Assign new BIs to BI Coordinators prior to New Employee Orientation Track completion accuracy and timeliness of initial assessments/referral process Review and approve initial assessments, renewals, quarterlies, updates, and progress notes within five (5) business days of receipt Track monthly and ensure renewals occur in a timely manner Track monthly and ensure updates are completed as needed, in a timely manner Ensure Critical Incident Report & Review Forms are submitted within 24 hours of incidents and track applicable follow up Provide support to staff during Out-of-Home Investigations (OHIs) Assist Family Coordinators and BI Coordinators with home visits and follow-up meetings as needed Attend and participate in internal and external meetings, court, conferences, and trainings as scheduled Maintain strong, open communication with direct supervisor regarding services delivered, concerns or questions Contribute on an organizational level with a focus on agency culture, cultural competency, and performance improvement outcomes Administrative/Performance, Quality & Improvement (PQI) In partnership with the Regional Director of BI Program and QA Coordinator, implement and lead a continuous quality improvement process, focusing on systems/process improvement and personnel growth Coordinate, collaborate, and communicate with Regional Director of B I Program, branch offices, and QA Coordinator on PQI/QA processes, barriers and modifications to ensure the effectiveness of the program Review file and shift note audit results monthly with the QA Coordinator for accuracy, service delivery qualifiers, and ongoing QA measures Review and approve non-critical incident reports and client documentation monthly Ensure all procedures are followed during Critical Incidents, provide follow-up, documentation, and communication to Executive Leadership Participate as an active team member with all agency departments so the agency's efforts to assist clients and maintain Council on Accreditation (COA) and State/private contracts standards are coordinated for maximum effectiveness Work in partnership with the Regional Director of BI Program, Coordinators and Finance Department to ensure payroll processes are accurate Track BI Program hours provided and ensure it is within guidelines of funding provided. Provide timely required information for LINC and VOCA billing Qualifications & Preferred Skills Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred) in social work, psychology, public administration, or a related human services field and at least two (2) years of experience working in non-profit social service agencies with at least two (2) years of supervisory experience Core understanding of child welfare practice and policy Demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities, proposing new ways of creating efficiencies, and guiding investment in people and systems Strategic thinker Solid commitment to the principles of support and advocacy for foster and adoptive families The aptitude to collaborate and advocate for positive outcomes, using excellent interpersonal skills in multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic professional teams Strong verbal communication skills and proficiency to articulate clearly and persuasively Demonstrated leadership capability, team management, and interpersonal skills.
