Job Description

Since 2006, Securing Resources for Consumers Inc. has been dedicated to empowering individuals throughout the Durham area. We specialize in providing consistent, person-centered support to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses—whether they live with family, in group homes, or other residential settings. As the needs of the individuals we serve continue to evolve, our organization grows alongside them—meeting new challenges with compassion, dedication, and respect. We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized Program Manager to provide daily oversight and leadership for assigned Behavioral Health, IDD, Substance Abuse, and Community-Based programs. The Program Manager will support program operations, staff supervision, service coordination, documentation compliance, and overall program performance. This role is ideal for a strong leader who understands Medicaid service delivery, values accountability, and can help ensure services are provided in a professional, person-centered, trauma-informed, and compliant manner.
Key Responsibilities Include:
The Program Manager will oversee day-to-day program operations, monitor staffing coverage and scheduling, support service delivery, and ensure staff complete assigned duties in a timely and professional manner. This position will also provide supervision, coaching, performance monitoring, and support to assigned staff. Additional responsibilities include monitoring documentation for accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and billing integrity; assisting with audits and corrective action follow-up; supporting intake coordination, service assignments, transitions, and discharge planning; and monitoring census, productivity, attendance, utilization, and program performance trends. The Program Manager will work closely with Directors, Quality Assurance, operational leadership, staff, referral sources, families, and community partners to support program stability, compliance, member engagement, and growth.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience in Behavioral Health, IDD, Substance Abuse Services, Medicaid-funded services, or community-based programming. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, the ability to hold staff accountable, and a working knowledge of documentation, compliance, service coordination, and program operations.

The Program Manager must model professionalism, accountability, responsiveness, teamwork, and respectful leadership. This role requires timely follow-through, clear communication, solution-focused problem-solving, and the ability to represent SRFC, Inc. professionally with staff, consumers, families, stakeholders, and external partners.
Requirements:
Applicants should have relevant education and/or experience in human services, behavioral health, social work, psychology, counseling, IDD services, substance abuse services, healthcare administration, or a related field. Prior supervisory or program management experience is preferred.
